The way this book sets up the next one is beautiful, you rarely see it done this way. 

I love how we Daimon gives the back story to where Alex is emotionally, mentally, and physically when we first meet her in Half-blood.

I also loved the glimpse of her life readers see pre-tragedy.

(And because it deals with greek mythology I don't see me saying that there is a tragedy as a spoiler, i'm just saying.)

Our main character is Alex and she's strong. Strong willed, strong tempered, head strong, but not least emotionally and physically strong.

In this book something so precious is ripped away from her and her strength is tested time and time again. She is hunted. She's strong, she survives.

And now we move on to Half-Blood.

I really am so freaking excited about rereading this series. I get to fall in love with the characters all over again, laugh, cry, cuss and then apologize, and so much more. But I'm super stoked that this time I'm sharing it with you all!
